Healthy North Coast, delivering the North Coast Primary Health Network, established the Centre for Healthcare Knowledge & Innovation (CHKI) in 2016 with the aim of advancing care coordination and integration on the North Coast. In 2018 CHKI transitioned to a consortium, bringing health, social care, education and employment together to advance the CHKI program.
Following a two-year hiatus to focus on COVID-19, flood and bushfire recovery, CHKI is once again embarking on an exciting journey towards transforming healthcare into a more equitable, patient-centered, and effective system.
Today, CHKI is a Healthy North Coast program proudly supported by some of the most effective and progressive healthcare, employment, and education service providers across the North Coast NSW region. Partners of the CHKI recognise the need to support the health and social care sectors to push the boundaries and explore new frontiers in health and innovation.
