Community empowerment is relevant to all parts of the public sector and is an area of increasing importance given developing legislation and policies. The Principles for community empowerment document aims to raise awareness of community empowerment and promote a shared understanding across scrutiny bodies to support high-quality scrutiny of community empowerment.
